Commissioned by an Australian interior design company, this visualisation explores the transformation of a two-storey residence through a contemporary, boutique-hotel-inspired interior. The design balances the warmth and familiarity of a private home with the refined character of a boutique hospitality environment. FPA Design Consultancy produced the 3D visualisation under the interior designer's direction and contributed to aspects of the exterior design.
Design Concept
Central to the concept is the homeowner's collection of bold artworks, which informed the spatial composition and material direction. Rather than competing with the art, the interior was conceived as a refined backdrop, allowing each statement piece to become part of the architectural experience. Furniture, wall sconces, and finishes curated by the designer create a cohesive visual language, which the visualisation translates into a series of atmospheric spaces communicating the material palette, lighting approach, and overall character of the renovation.
