A warmly resolved three-bedroom bungalow that demonstrates how modest footprints can yield richly layered living environments. Dark timber cladding, a terracotta-tiled hip roof, and full-height corner glazing give the facade a grounded yet contemporary character, while inside, an earthy palette of taupe, concrete render, and walnut timber creates a sense of calm and cohesion across every space.
Design Concept
The organizing idea is the interplay between enclosure and openness. An open-air foyer transitions directly to a private tropical courtyard garden, drawing filtered daylight and natural ventilation deep into the home's interior. Each room is anchored by a singular material gesture — the glass brick dining divider, the travertine TV feature wall in the master bedroom, the floating shelving unit in the living room — quiet design moves that give each space its own identity within a coherent whole.
